Casa Masas is a special place. In an old mansion on Agustín Pastor Street in Mirambel, at the beginning of the 20th century, Manuel and Filomena founded Casa Masas as an inn and café. Four generations later, Jordi Solà decided to restore the old store and canteen to convert it into a space for tasting and selling local artisan products.
And not only that, Jordi, an oenologist by profession, after working in different Denominations of Origin of the Peninsula as the D.O.Q. Priortat, D.O. Penedes, D.O. Ribera del Duero or D.O. Toro, he elaborates in Mirambel from the few old vineyards that are left in the area, natural wines without additives. These wines are mainly made from Grenache grapes of Mediterranean character, very marked by the arid and extreme climate of the area, which gives them unique characteristics.
From his hand, using the palate, the sense of smell and sight, you will be able to taste various wines, taste the explain how it was made and where it comes from. Each wine will be accompanied by a product or tapa and possible pairings will be studied.
