What does it consist of?

The Grutas de Cristal Natural Monument offers a visit to feel, think and reflect on the subway world, the last continent we have yet to discover. On the access stairs to the cave, the Time Line will help us to interpret the geological time and the surrounding landscape. The cave will fill us with sensations. Once in the village of Molinos, the documentary and the Museum of Formations will allow us to understand what we have experienced.

Additional information

The visit to the cave will provide us with a multitude of sensations. The absence of light will sharpen our senses. It will be time to feel the cave.

Once outside, it is time to reflect on all these sensations. In the Museum of the Molinos Formations, in an environment of light and warmth, an artistic replica shows the diversity of speleothems that we have appreciated and will help us in this task. Among the formations reproduced we will find a disk, a wash, columns, eccentric stalactites, coral formations and flags.

The Museo de las Formaciones is located in the center of Molinos, in the building of the new laundry. In the Museum we will also see replicas of bats and we will have the opportunity to document ourselves by means of informative panels on different topics.
