Mirambel was the scene of “Clase media”, a series of 8 episodes that was a success in 1987, when it was broadcasted in the First of Spanish Television, and that the older ones also remember fondly for having participated. The series was intended to be a reflection of rural Spain in the early 20th century. The action takes place between 1905 and 1906, during the reign of Alfonso XIII (1902-1931). The Requejos, besides representing the typical middle-class family of the time, reflect the confrontation between the old and the new Spain. Renowned actors such as Antonio Ferrandis, Charo López, Antonio Resines, Agustín González and Amparo Larrañaga participated in it.
