Traditional hiking stage that crosses valleys and mountain passes. Along the western flank of the Cantavieja wall, the stage begins towards Fortanete and Mirambel. Next to the A-226 road is the beginning of the route to both towns and, a few meters from the start, there is a fork in the road. The road to Fortanete flattens out below the urban center and reaches the Cantavieja River. It then climbs steeply up to “El Hostalejo”, where it joins the asphalted track of the Masovera district of “La Solana”. Cross the A-1702 road and reach the Puerto del Cuarto Pelado (1660 m). It then descends to “Las Dehesas” and crosses a small hill to reach the town of Fortanete.
