It starts in Cantavieja on the road to La Iglesuela del Cid, passing by the La Mula fountain (km 1.7), until the Puerto de Cantavieja (km 3.5) where it takes a dirt track on the left. Still on the main road, the route leads to the abandoned neighborhood of the Casas de San Juan (km 16.5). The return is via another nearby track that goes around the Monserrate hill until it joins an asphalt track (km 22.7) that leads to La Cuba. Continue to the left up to a crossroads with a dry stone cairn (km 24.5); this is the 6.5 km. diversion that leads to Mirambel. We continue along the asphalt road towards Cantavieja until we reach the A-226 road (km 30) to ascend steeply to the town (km 34.2).
