From the Portal de Marzo de Cuevas de Cañart, follow the GR 8 signposted route. Cross El Estrecho and take a small trail to access the Crespol neighborhood (km 3.8). Continue towards Ladruñán and take the asphalt road towards La Algecira, until a detour towards El Latonar and El Higueral (km 5.5) where it meets Route 9. The ascent along the southern slope of the Sierra de la Garrocha is continuous. Near the Mases de La Torrecilla I pass by a fountain and ascend to El Raspador.
Leave Route 9 (km 16.6) and join the asphalt road that connects Ejulve with Cuevas de Cañart (km 18.5). After 1.7 km on winding asphalt, it leaves the road in the direction of Las Artigas (km 20.2), joins Route 7 (km 24.4) and descends to Cuevas de Cañart via the San Juan hermitage, icehouse and Salto de San Juan (km 30).
