Attractive trail that reveals an enclave of interest in the recent memory of Maestrazgo, the camp of the Maquis. The route leaves Fortanete by the hermitage of Loreto and immediately begins a steep ascent along a cemented track in the direction of the peirón de la Cruz Gorda. Then continue to the right on a forest trail towards Masico La Pez, to then begin a short stretch on a poorly defined trail to the area where the Maquis camp was set up.
The walls, rocky corridors and cavities acted as a hiding place in the middle of this dense pine forest at an altitude of 1,620 meters. Be careful with the orientation in this place (pine forests).
