Mirambel has a good number of hermitages in its municipal district: San Martín de ToursSan Cristóbal, Santa Ana, Virgen del Pilar and San Roque. The latter two are the closest to the locality.
San Roque Hermitage
Located outside the walled enclosure, it is a masonry construction, rectangular in plan, with an open front atrium with three large semicircular arches and covered with a vaulted ceiling.
San Roque is a very popular saint for his protection against plagues and diseases. This hermitage was built as a result of a promise made by the inhabitants of Mirambel. They promised to erect a hermitage to the saint if he would free them from the plague of 1648. A few decades later, the building was constructed.
