Tronchón ceramic kilns

The potter’s kiln of Tronchón is preserved in the area of the threshing floors, next to the workshops where the pieces were made. In 1830 there were six potters in Tronchón.

One of the ovens is in relatively good condition, it still has the grill, the space for firewood, the walls and part of the dome. The adjoining, smaller oven was in worse condition.

The Town Council of Tronchón recently carried out the refurbishment work. When the materials that had fallen into the site were replaced, the true state of conservation of this cultural heritage was discovered.
