The hermitage of La Purísima is located on a hill crowning the village of Villarroya de los Pinares. It is a square building, with two floors, and inside it has interesting paintings decorating its walls.
It is, above all, known as a hiding place because, probably, when there was a threat of storm, plague or plague, the priest would go up to the hermitage with a relic to “conjure” the evil with prayers and exorcisms so that it would pass over the town.
