The tower was built in the 16th century on top of an earlier tower and is the only remnant of the castle, which was located in its surroundings. Later it was used as a bell tower for the nearby church, so that openings were opened for the bells, but the top was not transformed, which is still crenellated, thus maintaining the appearance of a defensive tower. It has a square floor plan of about 6 meters on each side and 18 meters high. The entrance door is located high up, although it is somewhat transformed. The tower has been recently restored.
