The Maestrazgo region has a new tourist landmark. It is a large dark green frame <\/strong>that, as of this month, completes the attractive viewpoint of San Crist\u00f3bal de Ca\u00f1ada de Benatanduz<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n

And what does this framework mean? For it represents Sustainable Development Goal<\/strong> (SDG) 13,<\/strong> Climate Action,<\/strong> which highlights the importance of environmental conservation and ways to do so. This is, without a doubt, an essential objective for Maestrazgo, where nature, the landscape and the environment are a fundamental part of the development of the area.<\/p>\n\n

From this viewpoint, next to the hermitage of San Cristobal, you can enjoy unbeatable views of Ca\u00f1ada de Benatanduz, a curious village of which it is said that “It is neither a village nor a town, and it is bigger than Seville”, alluding to the fact that, despite being small, it has a large urban area, where streets are hardly formed and almost every house has a threshing floor. This ODS frame helps to frame this beautiful panoramic view of the town.<\/p>\n\n

The installation of this framework has been an initiative of the Association for the Development of Maestrazgo (ADEMA), the Comarca del Maestrazgo and the City Council of the Ca\u00f1ada de Benatanduz, which thus join the Spanish Network for Rural Development, promoter of this campaign, which aims to create a national network of viewpoints associated with the Sustainable Development Goals, around which develop various promotional activities.<\/p>\n\n

The new ODS framework of the Ca\u00f1ada de Benatanduz viewpoint becomes a new tourist attraction for the municipality, in addition to the castle viewpoint, the parish church, the restored school, The Silent Route and, very soon, the restored refrigerator.<\/p>\n\n
