Maestrazgo is a region where you can enjoy a multitude of interesting experiences that allow you to get to know the people of the area, their history, culture and way of life.<\/p>\n\n

Many of them are available on this website, in the “Experiences<\/a>” section. The tourism entrepreneurs of the territory strive to offer novelties and invite you to discover them. <\/p>\n\n

This is the case of the companies we are going to introduce you to in this article. Every year the Department of Tourism of the Government of Aragon organizes a contest of Tourism Experiences of Aragon where the three best experiences are awarded and a special prize is given to the best ecotourism experience. <\/p>\n\n

This year, in the seventh edition of the contest, two experiences from the Maestrazgo region participated: “Awaken your senses in Teruel”, presented by the companies T-Gu\u00edo, Casa Masas and Conexi\u00f3n Imaginativa, and “Trufiturismo en el Maestrazgo”, developed by Setrufma.<\/p>\n\n

Although this time it has not been possible and other projects have won, it is exciting to see how the Maestrazgo region makes its way among the best and offers visitors first class tourist options. We will now present them. <\/p>\n\n

“Awaken your senses in Teruel<\/a>” invites you to awaken your senses through a forest bath, exploring the aromas, sounds and textures of the environment, completing the experience with the tasting of flavors of Teruel, that is, cheese, ham and wine produced in the territory. All this is the perfect finishing touch to this sensory feast that complements the connection with nature. <\/p>\n\n

“Trufiturismo en el Maestrazgo<\/a>” offers visitors to the area to discover the black gold of Teruel. Equipped with a truffle bag and machete, you will accompany Sergio and his dog Luna in search of truffles. After learning about truffle harvesting and their ecology, you will be able to taste them both raw and in the numerous products in which truffles are used in Setrufma. <\/p>\n\n
