Les rives des fleuves sont luxuriantes et feuillues, contrairement aux landes calcaires, o\u00f9 se d\u00e9veloppent des communaut\u00e9s plus x\u00e9rophiles, avec une profusion de plantes aromatiques. \u00c0 moyenne altitude, on trouve de bons bosquets de pins laricio alternant avec des bosquets de ch\u00eanes verts sur les expositions les plus chaudes et des bosquets de ch\u00eanes p\u00e9doncul\u00e9s sur les expositions les plus humides.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\"><br \/>L&#8217;\u00e9tage sup\u00e9rieur, quant \u00e0 lui, est domin\u00e9 par le pin sylvestre avec un sous-bois de buis et de gen\u00e9vrier rampant. Le <b>robellon <\/b>, tr\u00e8s pris\u00e9 et recherch\u00e9, y fleurit en automne. <\/span><span class=\"s3\">. <\/span><span class=\"s2\">De vastes for\u00eats de pins, exploit\u00e9es \u00e0 des fins foresti\u00e8res depuis l&#8217;Antiquit\u00e9, alternent avec des p\u00e2turages et des terrains de parcours utilis\u00e9s pour l&#8217;\u00e9levage depuis des temps imm\u00e9moriaux, bien qu&#8217;avec un fort imp\u00e9ratif saisonnier en raison du climat.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s1\">Une grande partie du territoire du Maestrazgo est incluse dans le <b>SIC (site d&#8217;importance communautaire) &#8220;Muelas y Estrechos del Guadalope&#8221;.<\/b> Il occupe la partie la plus septentrionale de la Sierra del Maestrazgo.  Il a une superficie totale de 19 174 hectares entre la Comarca del Maestrazgo et la Comarca Cuencas Mineras. letter-spacing: -0.2px;\">Il s&#8217;agit d&#8217;une zone de <b>grand int\u00e9r\u00eat pour la flore et la faune<\/b>, principalement en raison de la pr\u00e9sence de canyons fluviokarstiques et de vall\u00e9es \u00e9troites sculpt\u00e9es par le syst\u00e8me fluvial dominant. Sur les parois calcaires, on trouve d&#8217;importantes formations rocheuses et un grand nombre d&#8217;oiseaux qui utilisent les parois calcaires pour nicher. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; letter-spacing: -0.2px;\">La quasi-totalit\u00e9 de la v\u00e9g\u00e9tation est constitu\u00e9e de pins noirs et de pins sylvestres, mais on trouve \u00e9galement des bois mixtes tels que le ch\u00eane vert, le gen\u00e9vrier et le ch\u00eane p\u00e9doncul\u00e9 dans les zones ombrag\u00e9es et dans les zones humides. Ils sont importants en raison de leur int\u00e9r\u00eat particulier d\u00fb \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sence d&#8217;\u00e9rables, d&#8217;ifs, de houx, de buis et de noisetiers. Dans les zones les plus d\u00e9grad\u00e9es, on trouve des arbustes tels que le ch\u00eane kerm\u00e8s et le gen\u00e9vrier noir.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; letter-spacing: -0.2px;\">Les terres sont utilis\u00e9es pour l&#8217;<b>agriculture et l&#8217;\u00e9levage traditionnels<\/b>, l&#8217;\u00e9levage extensif de moutons et la sylviculture de pins.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18px; letter-spacing: -0.2px;\">La pr\u00e9sence d <b><a href=\"https:\/\/turismomaestrazgo.org\/fr\/lheure-des-orchidees\/\">orchid\u00e9es<\/a> <\/b>dans le Maestrazgo est remarquable. Il existe environ 120 esp\u00e8ces en Espagne, dont 36 se trouvent dans la r\u00e9gion. La particularit\u00e9 de cette zone est qu&#8217;elle abrite le <b>groupe des Epipactis<\/b>, un type d&#8217;orchid\u00e9e que l&#8217;on ne trouve pas dans le reste de l&#8217;Aragon. Le Maestrazgo est la zone o\u00f9 l&#8217;on trouve le plus grand nombre d&#8217;esp\u00e8ces de ce groupe ; il y en a m\u00eame une,<b> Epipactis Provincialis<\/b>, qui est tr\u00e8s rare et exclusive \u00e0 <a href=\"https:\/\/turismomaestrazgo.org\/pueblo\/fortanete\/\">Fortanete <\/a>et <a href=\"https:\/\/turismomaestrazgo.org\/fr\/villarroya-3\/\">Villarroya de los Pinares<\/a>. On peut \u00e9galement observer l&#8217;<b>Epipactis Cardina<\/b>, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couverte et d\u00e9crite \u00e0 Fortanete, mais qui a ensuite \u00e9t\u00e9 observ\u00e9e dans d&#8217;autres endroits. D&#8217;autres groupes peuvent \u00eatre observ\u00e9s dans la r\u00e9gion, comme l&#8217;Ophryx, le Dactylorhiza ou l&#8217;Orchis.
