D\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 l&#8217;\u00e9poque contemporaine, le Maestrazgo a acquis une certaine renomm\u00e9e pour les conflits qui s&#8217;y sont d\u00e9roul\u00e9s.<\/p><p>Pendant les guerres carlistes du XIXe si\u00e8cle, le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre Ram\u00f3n Cabrera a fait de Cantavieja son quartier g\u00e9n\u00e9ral et elle est redevenue la capitale du carlisme lors de la derni\u00e8re guerre. Au 20e si\u00e8cle, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 une sc\u00e8ne privil\u00e9gi\u00e9e pour les actions du maquis. Aujourd&#8217;hui, il constitue un espace architectural historique privil\u00e9gi\u00e9 en raison de son \u00e9tat de
