We will leave Cantavieja by the A-226 with quite bearable slopes and finding on our right, before reaching the second kilometer, the Ermita de San Blas.
We will now have some kms of flat and even downhill, although, in the background, we will begin to glimpse a fairly significant climb, which will begin after a valley.
The curves begin to accompany us and, for almost 4 kilometers, average slopes of around 7% with 5 ramps at 10/11% mark the hardest part of this climb, in which we will have views of the Barranco del Carrascal, and in which we will reach the Masía de la Torre Castellote.
We will again have a small landing with a small descent and a flat, in an area completely bare of vegetation. We will crown the pass once we have passed the access to The Silent Route, the Route of Silence. A silence and tranquility that will have accompanied us throughout our ascent.
