The great mountain passes, such as Villarroya, Fortanete, Cuarto Pelado or Tarayuela, are ideal for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing. When it snows in Maestrazgo there is no reason to stay at home, we must take advantage of the few days of permanent snow in these mountains. It is essential to take adequate equipment: ski poles or similar, sunglasses, backpack with water, map, GPS and a well-charged cell phone.
