Climbing

Maestrazgo is a natural paradise. A landscape sculpted by atmospheric agents, which has given rise to deep ravines and impressive rock faces that today are proving to be a must for climbing enthusiasts. Numerous climbing routes for all levels are being equipped and are gradually becoming known. Although there is still a long way to go because development is incipient.

Collectives such as the “Cave Climbers” of Molinos have equipped numerous routes in the town and have organized an annual meeting of climbers, the Molinos Roc, with exhibitions, competitions, workshops, etc., for the past three years. The Rasmia de Castellote campsite, run by experienced climbers, is also promoting routes in the area around the Santolea reservoir and is planning actions to attract climbers to the area. In this section we are going to give you some clues about where to find information about the routes, but as we say, we still have a long way to go to make them known. Attached below are some reference blogs and pdfs. We will be updating it little by little. In the book 100 inaccessible points of Teruel you have several of the Maestrazgo. We have posted the link to his blog on this page.
