It has orange carpophores in the shape of a club with a truncated edge, reaching 12-15 cm in height. They are amphigenous mushrooms, where the fertile part externally covers the whole mushroom. It mycorrhizae with pine trees and appears in the most humid areas during autumn. It has a sweet taste, which is why it is used to make desserts. Like other mushrooms, it is attributed with anticarcinogenic properties, in this case, due to its content of clavaric acid, with antitumor properties.
