Nitrophilic mushroom that appears in any well-fertilized soil, from spring to late autumn. Whitish, with a bell-shaped cap, fibrous cuticle and long, fragile stem. The lamellae turn from white to blackish as it ages. It is a deliquescent mushroom, with the passage of time and handling it darkens and disappears until it becomes a soup or black ink of spores. Precisely, it was used by the German intelligence in the Second World War, to detect false documentations.
