Marasmius oreades (Bolton) Fr. 1836

It is a saprophytic species with a wide distribution, which fructifies in witches’ nests, in pastures and well-fertilized meadows, mainly during the spring months, but it can also develop in summer and autumn. Mushroom with ochre tones, mameloned in mature specimens and striated on the edge. Free lamellae, scotulate and with lamellulae (small lamellae that do not reach the foot). Foot centered, thin, long and flexible, able to withstand twisting and turning two or three times without breaking.
