This September was held “Maestrazgo, Paisaje de Música”, a new idea of live concerts, where the landscapes of Maestrazgo are combined with music.
This year, Tronchón and the old town of Santolea were chosen. In the first municipality, attendees had the opportunity to visit the hermitage of Tremedal through a guided tour. The concert was given by ‘El Cuarteto Meninas’, who, using historical instruments, recreated classical music.
Xavier Esparza accompanied by a string trio (violin, viola and cello) delighted us with the concert ‘Trumpet & Strings’ in the depopulated Santolea. They allowed us to enjoy from baroque to Spanish folklore. Through the Association ‘Santolea Viva’, Laura Berne enlightened us with the history of the village and the circumstances that led to its abandonment.
