Another section of Pedaleando Gravel Tour in the north of the region is the one that starts in Molinos, where we can look out over the San Nicolás ravine from the bridge of the same name, see the remains of the Calatrava Castle or pass by the impressive Gothic church of Nuestra Señora de las Nieves, before taking the route to the Grutas de Cristal de Molinos.
A real journey through the most abrupt and genuine heart of the Maestrazgo, on a paved and rural road, where there is usually a lot of dirt and gravel, which passes in front of the Caves.
We will continue ascending Route 7 of the Crystal Caves to GR-8.1 detour, but we will take the track that leads, crossing the Barranco Val de Vidal between fields of brown and reddish colors, TE V-8215, road that will lead us to Dos Torres de Mercader.
