Allepuz Ratchet

The Trinquete de Allepuz is located in the square of the same name. The building has two floors. On the first floor, there is a commodities exchange – trinquet, with two semicircular arches enclosed by a wall, almost entirely forming a bench. On the central pillar, at the base of the first arch, there is a curious mark known in the area as “Miss.Miss“which is the representation of a Calvary. The upper floor was the old children’s school, used today as the bar of the Festival Committee and meeting place.

Traditionally, in the trinquetes, hand ball was played and they are very abundant throughout the region.
