Spring is here, and with it comes light, longer days, the green of the deciduous trees…

And as you feel like going out and enjoying the scenery, in Maestrazgo we propose several trails to enjoy this season in all its splendor.

To begin with, the star trail of this season: the PR TE 10 “Pasarelas del Guadalope” and also the PR TE 64. Both trails run along the banks of the main river of the region. If you are not very used to walking or you go with children, we recommend the PR TE 64 that, starting from Villarroya de los Pinares, takes you to Miravete de la Sierra, where the river has a little more flow and you cross it several times by wooden walkways. This route goes all the way along the river, it has hardly any slope, and you will enjoy the songs of the birds and the blooming of the poplars.

If most of the group are adults and you are used to hiking, you can enjoy the “Pasarelas del Guadalope”. The best known section of this trail is the one between Aliaga and Montoro de Mezquita, as it runs through the most narrow and spectacular narrows of the river. To know these sections have been placed walkways and you will hallucinate with the views and height. The path is linear, with 13 kilometers long, so you have to plan to leave a second vehicle to return to your arrival, or do only one section.
