The Sanjuanistas, like the Templars, were a military order. The force at the service of faith to conquer the Muslims. The order of San Juan and its three bailiwicks, Cantavieja, Castellote and Aliaga are shown in this center providing evidence of the importance that the region had as one of the most prosperous places of those managed by the order. The space to tell this story is the 16th century Prison which has a single vaulted cell where we can imagine how the unfortunate prisoners must have felt. Documents of Villarroya that testify the management of the order and abundant information will accompany us on the tour.
