Castellote welcomes the delivery of the diplomas of the Integral System of Spanish Tourist Quality in Destinations (SICTED).
Castellote acogió ayer la entrega de los distintivos del Sistema Integral de Calidad Turística Española en Destinos (SICTED), que reconocen el esfuerzo de los establecimientos, su compromiso con la calidad y su apuesta por el turismo. Estos distintivos fueron otorgados a siete establecimientos de la Comarca del Maestrazgo. Al acto asistieron la consejera de Turismo de la Comarca del Maestrazgo, Marta Monforte, y la alcaldesa de Castellote, Raquel Benedí.
The event began with a guided tour of the Stone Forest of Dinópolis and continued with a visit to the hermitage of Llovedor. At the end, the attendees were directed to the Casa de la Cultura, where the tourist novelties in the region of Maestrazgo were presented and a balance was made of the tourist moment in which the territory is so far. Afterwards, diplomas were awarded to the distinguished establishments: Casa Rural Conesa and Casa Marqués de Valdeolivo de Tronchón, Restaurante 4 Vientos de Cantavieja, Servicios Turísticos T-guio, Museo de las Guerras Carlistas de Cantavieja, Torreón Templario and Oficina de Turismo de Castellote.
During the presentation of the diplomas, the importance of the FITE funds for the development of tourism in the region was also highlighted. In addition, the counselor, Marta Monforte, reflected on the need to value the hospitality sector among the younger population to ensure a generational relay and to maintain the businesses that promote tourism in the territory.
After the presentation of the diplomas, an aperitif was enjoyed at the Hotel Castellote, which brought to an end an event with which the Maestrazgo Region recognizes tourism as an economic engine of the area and rewards the establishments that collaborate in this.
